Coach Mugisha

Youth gymnastics coach and mentor

  • 🇹🇿 Kinondoni, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
  • Kinondoni Football Club
  • Since 2001
  • English, Swahili, Spanish
I've coached gymnastics at Kinondoni Football Club since 2001. Most of my players were between 9 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life. Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I learn every name in the first week.

I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.

What gifts mean to Coach Mugisha: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
