I've coached table tennis at Bamboo Youth Club since 1990. Most of my players were between 8 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I answer every email, even at midnight.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Coach Mubashir: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
