Coach Mthunzi
Coached wrestling for nine years in Johannesburg
- 🇿🇦 Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa
- Johannesburg Community Club
- 2015 to 2024
- English, Afrikaans
I coached wrestling at Johannesburg Community Club from 2015 to 2024. Most of my players were between 12 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I answered every email, even at midnight.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
