Coach Mthunzi

Youth hockey coach and mentor

  • 🇿🇦 Bloemfontein, Free State, South Africa
  • Bloemfontein Swimming Club
  • 1984 to 2007
  • English, Zulu
I'm a hockey coach. I never went pro, but I got to see 410 kids fall in love with the game. Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.

More about Coach Mthunzi

I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.

What gifts mean to Coach Mthunzi: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
