I coached athletics at Madurai St. Mary's Athletic Club from 1992 to 2018. Most of my players were between 8 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
