I coached rowing at Unity Swimming Club from 1989 to 2016. Most of my players were between 10 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Coach Monique
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
