Coach Miguel
Chess coach, Holy Cross Youth Club
- 🇺🇸 Riverside, California, United States
- Holy Cross Youth Club
- Since 2005
- English, Spanish
For 21 years I've run the chess program at Holy Cross Youth Club in Riverside. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never raise my voice.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
What gifts mean to Coach Miguel: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
