Coach Miguel
Youth boxing coach and mentor
- 🇨🇴 Medellín, Antioquia, Colombia
- Crown Swimming Club
- Since 1981
- Spanish
For 45 years I've run the boxing program at Crown Swimming Club in Medellín. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never raise my voice.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
What gifts mean to Coach Miguel: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
