Coach Michel
Cricket coach, Lille Frangipani Sports Club
- 🇫🇷 Lille, Hauts-de-France, France
- Lille Frangipani Sports Club
- Since 1978
- English, French
I've coached cricket at Lille Frangipani Sports Club since 1978. Most of my players were between 9 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never raise my voice.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.

What gifts mean to Coach Michel: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.

You coached me in 2014. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Greetings from Rome.
