For 35 years I've run the boxing program at Los Angeles Athletic Club in Los Angeles. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I stay late on Thursdays for anyone who needs it.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
