Coach Merve
Athletics and fitness coach, Istanbul
- 🇹🇷 Istanbul, Istanbul, Türkiye
- Istanbul Oakwood Athletic Club
- 1997 to 2011

I coached athletics at Istanbul Oakwood Athletic Club from 1997 to 2011. Most of my players were between 8 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I answered every email, even at midnight.
More about Coach Merve
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Merve: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
