Coach Mercy

Coached netball for 17 years in Dar es Salaam

  • 🇹🇿 Dar es Salaam, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
  • Dar es Salaam Crescent Swimming Club
  • Since 2009
  • English, Swahili
I'm a netball coach. I never went pro, but I get to see 560 kids fall in love with the game. Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk. I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

More about Coach Mercy

If you played for me, you probably remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on.

What gifts mean to Coach Mercy: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
