I'm a basketball coach. I never went pro, but I got to see 840 kids fall in love with the game.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Coach Mercy
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
