Coach Mercy
Cricket coach, Ikeja Football Club
- 🇳🇬 Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria
- Ikeja Football Club
- Since 2007
- English, Igbo
For 19 years I've run the cricket program at Ikeja Football Club in Ikeja. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I stay late on Thursdays for anyone who needs it.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Coach Mercy
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Mercy: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
