Coach Melek

Coached baseball for 25 years in Istanbul

🇹🇷 Istanbul, Istanbul, Türkiye
Istanbul Youth Club
1980 to 2005
English, Spanish

I coached baseball at Istanbul Youth Club from 1980 to 2005. Most of my players were between 12 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life. Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term. I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
