Martial arts coach, San Jose Athletic Club
- 🇺🇸 San Jose, California, United States

For 30 years I've run the martial arts program at San Jose Athletic Club in San Jose. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I always have a bag of oranges in my drawer.

Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Coach Meena: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.

You coached me in 2020. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Greetings from Rio de Janeiro.
