Coach Mazen
Cross country and fitness coach, Jeddah
- 🇸🇦 Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia
- Jeddah Sports Club
- 1993 to 2025
- English, Arabic
I coached cross country at Jeddah Sports Club from 1993 to 2025. Most of my players were between 10 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
More about Coach Mazen
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
