I'm a cross country coach. I never went pro, but I got to see 900 kids fall in love with the game.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Coach Maya: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
