Coach Maverick
Martial arts coach, Newport Community Club
- 🇬🇧 Newport, Wales, United Kingdom
- Newport Community Club
- Since 1999
- English
I've coached martial arts at Newport Community Club since 1999. Most of my players were between 9 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I play music while people worked.
More about Coach Maverick
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Coach Maverick: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
