Coach Maverick
Youth boxing coach and mentor
- 🇺🇸 San Jose, California, United States
- San Jose Central Boxing Gym
- Since 1987
- English
For 39 years I've run the boxing program at San Jose Central Boxing Gym in San Jose. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I answer every email, even at midnight.
More about Coach Maverick
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Coach Maverick: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
