I coached chess at Amsterdam Swimming Club from 2015 to 2023. Most of my players were between 11 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. My door was open at lunch.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
What gifts mean to Coach Maud: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
