Coach Mateo
Youth hockey coach and mentor
- 🇨🇴 Bucaramanga, Santander, Colombia
- Mount Pleasant Youth Club
- 1993 to 2019
- Spanish
I coached hockey at Mount Pleasant Youth Club from 1993 to 2019. Most of my players were between 10 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Coach Mateo
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Coach Mateo: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
