Coach Mateo
Youth wrestling coach and mentor
- 🇺🇸 Toledo, Ohio, United States
- 2006 to 2021
- English, Spanish
For 15 years I ran the wrestling program at Heritage Football Club in Toledo. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
More about Coach Mateo
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.

What gifts mean to Coach Mateo: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
