Coach Mason
Chess coach, Columbus Harbor Athletic Club
- 🇺🇸 Columbus, Ohio, United States
- 1981 to 1996
- English
I coached chess at Columbus Harbor Athletic Club from 1981 to 1996. Most of my players were between 8 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
What gifts mean to Coach Mason: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.

you coached me in 1997. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Greetings from Anaheim.
