Coach Marta
Softball and fitness coach, Ciudad de México
- 🇲🇽 Ciudad de México, Ciudad de México, Mexico
- Ciudad de México Bayview Community Club
- 1980 to 2018
- Spanish
I coached softball at Ciudad de México Bayview Community Club from 1980 to 2018. Most of my players were between 8 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I answered every email, even at midnight.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Coach Marta
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Marta: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
