Coach Mark
Youth hockey coach and mentor
- 🇿🇦 Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa
- Johannesburg Kingsway Sports Club
- Since 1981
- English
For 45 years I've run the hockey program at Johannesburg Kingsway Sports Club in Johannesburg. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I walk the dog by the river.
More about Coach Mark
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Mark: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
