Youth rowing coach and mentor
- 🇵🇭 Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines
- Quezon City Youth Club
- Since 2007
- English, Filipino
I'm a rowing coach. I never went pro, but I get to see 930 kids fall in love with the game.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I'm always reading two books at once.
More about Coach Marites
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Coach Marites: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
