Coach Marisol
Youth football coach and mentor
- 🇺🇸 San Jose, California, United States
- San Jose Sports Club
- 1979 to 1988
- English, Spanish
I coached football at San Jose Sports Club from 1979 to 1988. Most of my players were between 9 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
