I've coached softball at Redwood Youth Club since 1983. Most of my players were between 10 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
