Coach Marieke
Youth softball coach and mentor
- 🇳🇱 Amsterdam, North Holland, Netherlands
- Ashford Youth Club
- 1998 to 2020
- Dutch
I coached softball at Ashford Youth Club from 1998 to 2020. Most of my players were between 12 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I walk the dog by the river.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.

If you played for me, you probably remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on.

What gifts mean to Coach Marieke: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
