Coach Marie
Chess and fitness coach, Halifax
- 🇨🇦 Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada
- Halifax Youth Club
- 1992 to 2007
- English
I coached chess at Halifax Youth Club from 1992 to 2007. Most of my players were between 12 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
Thank you for stopping by.
More about Coach Marie
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Coach Marie: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
