Coach Maricel
Coached football for nine years in Manila
- 🇵🇭 Manila, Metro Manila, Philippines
- Manila Youth Club
- 2013 to 2022
- English, Filipino
I'm a football coach. I never went pro, but I got to see 290 kids fall in love with the game.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I played music while people worked.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Coach Maricel
If you played for me, you probably remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.
What gifts mean to Coach Maricel: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
