Cross country coach, Northside Swimming Club
- 🇺🇸 San Jose, California, United States

For 48 years I've run the cross country program at Northside Swimming Club in San Jose. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I make terrible puns.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Coach Mariana: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
