Coach Mariana
Badminton and fitness coach, Macon
- 🇺🇸 Macon, Georgia, United States
- Macon Athletic Club
- Since 2007
- English
I've coached badminton at Macon Athletic Club since 2007. Most of my players were between 11 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I write a short note to every student at the end of term.

I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Coach Mariana: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
