I coached table tennis at Iloilo City Bamboo Youth Club from 1986 to 2024. Most of my players were between 12 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.

What gifts mean to Coach Maria: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
