Coach María
Swimming and fitness coach, San Diego
- 🇺🇸 San Diego, California, United States
- Since 1983
- English, Spanish
I'm a swimming coach. I never went pro, but I get to see 1,160 kids fall in love with the game.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I'm learning the guitar.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Coach María
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach María: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
