Coach Maria

Cricket and fitness coach, Manchester

  • 🇬🇧 Manchester, England, United Kingdom
  • Manchester Swimming Club
  • Since 1998
  • English
I've coached cricket at Manchester Swimming Club since 1998. Most of my players were between 11 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life. Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. My door was open at lunch.

I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.

What gifts mean to Coach Maria: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
