Coach Maria
Cross country coach, Athens Orchid Athletic Club
- 🇬🇷 Athens, Attica, Greece
- Since 1984
- English, Greek
For 42 years I've run the cross country program at Athens Orchid Athletic Club in Athens. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.

What gifts mean to Coach Maria: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.

You coached me in 2001. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Greetings from Amsterdam.
