I coached swimming at Maple Ridge Youth Club from 1997 to 2015. Most of my players were between 9 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
More about Coach Marcos
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.

What gifts mean to Coach Marcos: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.

You coached me in 2001. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Greetings from Sydney.
