Coach Marcos
Rugby and fitness coach, Rio de Janeiro
- 🇧🇷 Rio de Janeiro, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
- 1988 to 2003
- Portuguese
I coached rugby at Rio de Janeiro Youth Club from 1988 to 2003. Most of my players were between 9 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
What gifts mean to Coach Marcos: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.

You coached me in 2007. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Greetings from Santarém.
