I'm a swimming coach. I never went pro, but I get to see 920 kids fall in love with the game.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I answer every email, even at midnight.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Coach Marcos
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Marcos: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
