Coach Marcelo
Coached wrestling for 32 years in Salvador
- 🇧🇷 Salvador, Bahia, Brazil
- Salvador Swimming Club
- Since 1994
- Portuguese
For 32 years I've run the wrestling program at Salvador Swimming Club in Salvador. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I learn every name in the first week.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Coach Marcelo
If you played for me, you probably remember the time the class pet escaped.
What gifts mean to Coach Marcelo: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.

I still think about the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard. Best summer of my life. Greetings from Edinburgh.
