Coach Makoto
Boxing coach, Shinjuku Sports Club
- 🇯🇵 Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan
- 1992 to 2000
- Japanese
I coached boxing at Shinjuku Sports Club from 1992 to 2000. Most of my players were between 10 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
Sports or skills coached
What gifts mean to Coach Makoto: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
