Coach Mairead
Coached athletics for 44 years in Galway
- 🇮🇪 Galway, Connacht, Ireland
- Galway Football Club
- Since 1982

For 44 years I've run the athletics program at Galway Football Club in Galway. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
More about Coach Mairead
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Mairead: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
