Coach Macharia
Youth hockey coach and mentor
- 🇰🇪 Kisumu, Kisumu, Kenya
- Kisumu Football Club
- Since 1989
- English, Swahili
I'm a hockey coach. I never went pro, but I get to see 1,110 kids fall in love with the game.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I stay late on Thursdays for anyone who needs it.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Coach Macharia
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Coach Macharia: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
