For 24 years I ran the cycling program at Oakland Beacon Athletic Club in Oakland. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I walk the dog by the river.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Coach Lydia
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Coach Lydia: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
