Coach Luiz
Badminton coach, São Paulo Boxing Gym
- 🇧🇷 São Paulo, São Paulo, Brazil
- São Paulo Boxing Gym
- 1995 to 2009
- English, Portuguese, French
For 14 years I ran the badminton program at São Paulo Boxing Gym in São Paulo. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Coach Luiz
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Coach Luiz: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.

You coached me in 2009. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Greetings from Newcastle.
