Coach Lucy

Youth chess coach and mentor

  • 🇺🇸 Charlotte, North Carolina, United States
  • Charlotte Youth Club
  • Since 2001
  • English
For 25 years I've run the chess program at Charlotte Youth Club in Charlotte. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather. Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I learn every name in the first week.
