Coach Lucy
Coached athletics for 45 years in Kikuyu
- 🇰🇪 Kikuyu, Kiambu, Kenya
- Kikuyu Central Sports Club
- Since 1981
- English, Swahili, French
For 45 years I've run the athletics program at Kikuyu Central Sports Club in Kikuyu. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
What gifts mean to Coach Lucy: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
