Coach Lucky
Coached hockey for 18 years in Pretoria
- 🇿🇦 Pretoria, Gauteng, South Africa
- Pretoria Youth Club
- Since 2008
- English, Zulu
I've coached hockey at Pretoria Youth Club since 2008. Most of my players were between 12 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I stay late on Thursdays for anyone who needs it.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Coach Lucky
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Coach Lucky: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
